Board of Directors Representative Dick Cathcart Board of Directors Email: dave@apporiver.org With the exception of his four years in the United States Air Force, Dick Cathcart has been a lifetime resident of the State of Delaware. He and his family moved to Middletown in 1989 and has been active in the community ever since. He served in the State House of Representatives from 1978 to 1982. In 1997 he return to the State House and currently serves as the House Majority Leader. Dick’s public service commitment continues to this day with service on many Boards including membership on the Diamond State Port Authority Advisory Board; Delaware Autism Advisory Board; State Veterans Home Advisory Board; Appoquinimink River Association Board and in December was voted to be a member of the St. Francis Hospital Foundation Board. Dick is married to his wife Linda and has three grown daughters and eight grand children.
