Current Projects Monitoring the quality of our local waters The ARA has once again partnered with the Delaware Nature Society to perform technical monitoring of the streams in the Appoquinimink Watershed. Technical monitoring provides data on the characteristics of streams such as: dissolved oxygen, pH, alkalinity, nitrates, phosphates, conductivity, salinity in tidal reaches, temperature, and flow. All of these characteristics are important in determining the over all health of the stream. Keep a look out for upcoming workshops to join our current water monitors!
